OPLACE Limited Warranty

Your OPlace gear is engineered for daily commuting and real-world riding. We stand behind its build quality and performance. This Limited Warranty explains what is covered, for how long, and how to request service.

1. 30-Day Quality Guarantee — Instant Replacement

If your product develops a manufacturing or quality-related issue within 30 days of delivery, we will provide a free replacement of the main unit after photo or video confirmation.

  • No repair attempts required.
  • No diagnostic delays.
  • No additional charges for the replacement main unit.

This ensures riders can get back on the road as quickly as possible.

2. Warranty Coverage Periods

Warranty periods vary depending on the type of item:

Main Unit (Primary Device)

24 Months Coverage

Applies to the core working body of the product, such as the helmet dryer body or front-light main unit.

Battery & Charging Components

12 Months Coverage

Includes built-in or removable batteries, chargers, and power adapters.

Accessories & Non-Electronic Parts

6 Months Coverage

Includes mounts, straps, clips, silicone rings, USB cables, brackets, and other non-main components.

3. What the Warranty Covers

During the applicable warranty period, OPlace will:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace it with the same or an equivalent model.

There is no charge for the repaired or replacement main unit.

Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers cover shipping the defective item to our service location (if required).
  • OPlace covers shipping the repaired or replacement item back to you.

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by accidents, drops, improper installation, or misuse.
  • Exposure to elements beyond our specified ratings.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly.
  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, fading, cosmetic changes).
  • Lost or stolen items.
  • Damage unrelated to workmanship or materials.

5. How to File a Warranty Claim

Please email support@oplacegear.com with:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photos or video evidence.
  • Your shipping address (for replacement within 30 days).

Our support team will respond within 24–48 hours.

6. Relationship to Our 30-Day Return Policy

  • Change-of-mind or non-defective returns follow our 30-Day Return Policy.
  • Quality-related issues within the first 30 days fall under the 30-Day Quality Guarantee (replacement).
  • After 30 days, the standard 24 / 12 / 6-month warranty periods apply, depending on the item type.

7. Service Regions

Warranty services are handled by COPLAX Inc., USA. Fulfillment may be supported by authorized warehouses in the United States or Asia, depending on product type and inventory.

Current service regions include: United States, Canada, and Mexico.
